Access control systems

Know Exactly Who Comes & Goes.

Replace keys that get lost, copied, or never returned. Access control systems give you complete command over every door in your business — who can enter, when, and what happens when they try.

If You Have Employees, You Need This

Any business that relies on keys to control who enters is operating with a gap. Here's who we install access control for most often in the Port Orange area.

Small & Mid-Size Businesses
Offices, retail locations, salons, medical practices — any business with employees, contractors, or vendors coming and going needs control over who can access what.
  • Restrict back-office & storage access
  • Log employee arrival and departure
  • Revoke access instantly when staff changes
Property Managers & Landlords
Multi-tenant buildings, storage facilities, HOA amenity areas, and rental properties where tenant turnover makes physical rekeying expensive and impractical.
  • Issue and revoke tenant credentials digitally
  • Eliminate rekeying costs between tenants
  • Control amenity area access by unit
Healthcare & Professional Services
Medical offices, law firms, financial advisors, and any business handling sensitive client data or controlled substances that requires strict area-by-area access management.
  • HIPAA-compliant access logging
  • Restrict medication & records rooms
  • Time-based access for cleaning staff
Choose Your Credential Type

We design systems around how your business actually operates — not the other way around. Every credential type has a right use case.

💳
Key Fob & Card
Proximity cards or fobs tap the reader to unlock. Easy to issue, easy to revoke, and works with gloves or wet hands.
Best for: offices, retail, warehouses
🔢
PIN Keypad
Enter a code to gain entry. No physical credential needed — ideal for areas where cards may be lost or shared.
Best for: secondary doors, temporary access
📱
Mobile Credential
Use your smartphone as your access credential via Bluetooth or NFC. No cards to carry — the phone does it all.
Best for: tech-forward businesses, remote unlocking
👆
Biometric
Fingerprint or facial recognition readers for highest-security areas. Cannot be shared, cloned, or forgotten.
Best for: server rooms, pharmacies, restricted zones
🔑
Multi-Factor
Combine card + PIN or phone + fingerprint for two-factor security. Two credentials required before the door unlocks.
Best for: high-value or sensitive areas
🕐
Scheduled Access
Credentials automatically work only during set hours — a cleaning crew's fob works 6–8 PM on weekdays and nothing else.
Best for: contractors, vendors, part-time staff
Keys Are a Liability

Physical keys create problems that are invisible until something goes wrong.

01
You can't track who uses them
When did your employee arrive? Who opened the back door at 11 PM? With keys, you'll never know. Access control logs every entry with name, door, and timestamp.
02
Rekeying is expensive and disruptive
Every time an employee leaves or a key goes missing, you face a rekeying decision. Access control lets you revoke a credential in seconds from your phone — no locksmith, no downtime.
03
Keys get copied without your knowledge
Any hardware store can duplicate a key in three minutes. Electronic credentials cannot be copied — and if a card is lost, you deactivate it before anyone can use it.
04
You can't control access by time or area
A key either opens a lock or it doesn't. Access control lets you give the cleaning crew access to the lobby but not the office, and only during certain hours — all without touching a physical lock.
Control, Visibility & Peace of Mind

Access control isn't just about locking doors. It gives you a complete picture of activity at your property — from anywhere.

Instant remote lock & unlock
Lock or unlock any door from your phone. Let in a delivery driver, lock up after hours, or lock down the building in an emergency — all without being on site.
Full audit trail & reporting
Every access event is logged — who, which door, exact time. Export reports for HR, compliance, or insurance. Know immediately if someone was where they shouldn't be.
Manage users from anywhere
Add a new employee, set their access level, and issue their credential in minutes — before they even walk in the door. Terminate access the moment someone leaves the company.
Time-based & scheduled access
Set credentials to work only during business hours, specific days, or custom windows. Contractors get access only while they're contracted. It expires automatically.
Real-time alerts & notifications
Get instant alerts when a door is forced, held open too long, or when an access attempt is denied. Know the moment something unusual happens at your property.
Camera & alarm integration
Link access control to your camera system to automatically record footage when a door is accessed. Pair with your alarm system for a fully unified security platform.
From Assessment to Active in 4 Steps

We handle every part of the process — hardware selection, wiring, software setup, and staff training.

01
Access audit
We walk your facility, map every door that needs control, and discuss who needs access to what — and when. This drives every design decision.
02
System design & quote
You receive a written plan showing reader type, door hardware, software platform, and total cost. No surprises — everything itemized before any work begins.
03
Professional installation
Our licensed technicians install readers, electric strikes or maglocks, controllers, and run all cabling cleanly and concealed where possible.
04
Training & handoff
We configure your software, set up user accounts, and walk your team through managing credentials, pulling reports, and handling day-to-day administration.
How Our Customers Use It

Every property is different. Here are eight common access control scenarios we design and install regularly.

01
Employee arrives after hours
Their credential works only during approved hours. An after-hours entry triggers an alert to the manager's phone automatically — no manual monitoring required.
02
Staff member leaves the company
HR notifies you. You open the app and deactivate their credential in seconds. Their card, fob, or phone access stops working immediately — from anywhere in the world.
03
HVAC contractor needs one-day access
You issue a temporary credential valid only for that day, only for the mechanical room. It expires automatically at 5 PM. No rekeying, no physical handoff, no forgotten keys.
04
Investigating a missing item
You pull the access log for the storage room. You see exactly who entered and when — with timestamps. The investigation that used to take days takes ten minutes.
05
Multi-location business
Manage all locations from a single web portal. A regional manager's credential works across all sites. A store associate's only works at their assigned location.
06
After-hours cleaning crew
Cleaning staff gets credentials valid 6–9 PM weekdays only. They can access the lobby, bathrooms, and common areas — but not the server room or executive offices.
07
Property manager with high turnover
When a tenant moves out, deactivate their credential and issue a new one for the incoming tenant in minutes. No locksmith. No rekeying cost. No waiting.
08
Emergency lockdown
Lock every door in your facility simultaneously from your phone with one tap. Ideal for schools, medical facilities, or any building where a rapid lockdown may be necessary.
Access Control FAQ
How much does access control cost? +
It depends significantly on how many doors, what credential type you choose, and whether you need any door hardware replaced. A single-door system starts considerably lower than a multi-door enterprise installation. We give you a written, itemized quote after a free site assessment — that's the only honest way to answer this question for your specific property.
Will this work with the doors I already have? +
In most cases, yes. We can add electronic access control to most standard commercial doors without replacing the door itself. We may need to install an electric strike or magnetic lock on the frame, which we handle as part of the installation. We assess this during the site walkthrough.
What happens if the power goes out? +
All systems include battery backup to maintain operation during a power outage. Doors can be configured to fail-safe (unlock during power loss — typical for fire code compliance) or fail-secure (remain locked) depending on the door's purpose and code requirements. We design each door appropriately.
Can I still use a physical key as a backup? +
Yes. Most electric strikes and locks we install retain a mechanical key override for emergency situations. This is standard practice and something we always recommend. The electronic credential handles 99% of daily use, but the mechanical backup is always there.
Can access control integrate with my existing alarm or cameras? +
This is one of the biggest advantages of working with a full-service integrator like us. We regularly tie access control into camera systems so a door access event triggers a recording, and into alarm systems so a forced door immediately triggers an alarm response. If we installed your other systems, integration is straightforward.
How many users can the system handle? +
Most of the systems we install support hundreds to thousands of users — far more than a typical small or mid-size business would ever need. User counts are almost never a limiting factor. We'll spec the right system for your current size with room to grow.
